The AgFrontier Regional AgTech Incubator program is a first-of-its-kind for Queensland. Tailor-made for regionally-based agricultural businesses and individuals, the program is different from almost anything we have seen before – it’s delivered over a longer timeline, and takes into account seasonal demands such as harvesting, regional connectivity, and travel challenges. The AgFrontier program facilitates access to global networks, technology and information not easily available in regional and rural Australia. Second face to face meeting of cohort with CHDC + X-Lab team in Emerald, Queensland for two-day workshop reviewing progress, upskilling and planning next steps for the regional agtech incubator program.
AgTeCH19 Emerald Demo Day
Phase 2 program activities initiated. Cohort members participate in an AgFrontier Start Up Alley at AgTeCH19 Event in Emerald, Queensland on 6 Nov 2019. Opportunity to test the market, gather feedback, demonstrate products and seek investment.
Global Linkages USA Mission 14 to 24 March 2020
The cohort will visit and meet with investors and agtech companies revolutionising the sector in Silicon Valley and the Front Range, Colorado. They will be immersed in a rich culture of high-growth agtech entrepreneurship and attend networking and educational events to equip them with an understanding of what is involved to launch a globally successful agtech start-up. They will also attend the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit event in San Francisco, California.
AgTeCH20 Mungindi Demo Day 1 April 2020
